Bone fractures may occur as a result of car accidents, unfortunate slips, falls or any other type of hit. It can lead to serious problems with the bones and can make your situation very difficult. You must consult a doctor as soon as possible to avoid more serious problems.
There are many types of bone fractures. We cannot easily determine just which type of has occurred. However, the doctor can diagnose and determine the type of fractured bone and the remedy that has to be taken for that bone fracture by implementing proper X-ray technology and other medical techniques. By using the correct diagnosing techniques, the exact location of the broken bone can be determined. According to the type of fractured bone that you have, the doctor starts the proper treatment.
Fractured bones may occur due to numerous reasons. These reasons are divided into three categories, including:
1. Osteoporosis. It is also known as the disease that involves thinning of bones. Osteoporosis makes bones less dense due to the loss of bone tissues. Alteration occurs in bone protein and minerals inside the bone matrix. It may lead to weak and fragile bones. As the bones become porous, they are prone to getting broken, resulting to fractured bones.
2. Bone overuse. This reason is often related to sports as the sportsmen apply more stress and force on their bones while training and playing a lot of times.
3. Accidents. Bones get fractured due to accidents like car accidents, mountain climbing, accidents of falls or unfortunate slips.

Healing
Green tea has some anti-oxidants which prevent us from cancer. It also works as a healing agent.
Researchers believe that drinking green tea increases the density of bone by increasing bone minerals. The bone mineral density of green tea drinkers is comparatively higher than the non –tea drinkers.
The length of the entire process of healing fractured bones can depend on the body part where the injury has taken place. It can be two weeks for the fractured upper body parts and three to four weeks for the fractured lower body parts.
The bones get regenerated before the entire span of the treatment.  The remodeling phase also completes before the removal of cast.

Compression Fracture
There is a certain type of fracture is associated with osteoporosis. It is the disease which occurs due the lack of calcium in the body. Bones become weak. Our body needs calcium for other functions also. Bones are the reservoir of calcium but this calcium is used up by other mechanisms thereby resulting in thinning of the bone. This can also cause osteoporosis, which may lead to knee pain and arthritis. It is also responsible for the collapse of the vertebral column. This is called as compression fracture.  So, it is important to know its cause. Prevention is better so take adequate amount of calcium regularly in the form of your food.
